In one event, i saw a young girl accidently drop a glass container filled with candy. The shatter was pretty loud. The glass shattered all over the floor. The mother was being negative and talking down to her daughter.
I was thinking to myself, all of the small events add up to her mental health and programming later on in her life as an adult. It all depends on how the events are perceived. I was close by thinking what can I do to help this child not let this event scar her decades down the line. Yes, I know the whole situation seems minor however all of this can have snowball effect years down the line. So I said to the young girl. The good thing is no one got hurt and accidents happen.
I wanted her to be able to feel she can learn the right things. Even in the temporary failures in her future, she’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow instead of letting all of it hold her down.
I didn’t learn this untll my 30s, None of my family taught this. Since the focus was on failing instead of the lessons needs to be obtained from the events. Please encourage your children to fail so they will become stronger and more productive members of society in the pursuit of being successful.
